Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Chimera Corp ("we", "us") for using Chimera Nexus and the Chimera bot. By signing in you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. A game, not a bank

The Chimera banks are part of a game economy for players of Politics & War. Money, resources, loans, interest and shares here have no real-world value. This is not a real bank, is not licensed or insured as one, and nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Do not use it to hold or move real money, and do not trade anything here for real money.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord or by the developers of Politics & War.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under Discord's terms and the law where you live to agree to these terms. You must follow Discord's terms and the rules of Politics & War, and the rules of the bank whose server you belong to.

3. Your account and access

You sign in with Discord, and what you can do depends on the roles a bank's staff give you in its server. You are responsible for what happens under your Discord account, so keep it secure. Staff and directors decide matters such as loan approvals, interest, account freezes and who holds which role; those decisions are theirs to make and are not guaranteed.

4. Using the service properly

You agree not to:

use or try to use anyone else's account, or to look at information that is not yours or that your role does not allow;
cheat, defraud or mislead other players or the banks, or manipulate shares, offers or shareholder votes;
use bugs or mistakes to gain money, resources or shares: report them to the staff instead, and give back anything you received by mistake;
overload the service, run automated requests against it, or try to get around its limits and protections;
break the law, or Discord's or Politics & War's rules, while using the service.

We may freeze accounts, reverse mistaken or abusive transactions, remove access and tell the relevant bank, Discord or the game's staff.

5. Transactions

Deposits and withdrawals depend on trades and transfers inside the game, which can be delayed, refused or changed by the game and are outside our control. Nothing is credited to a deposit until the bank has received it in the game. Check every amount and destination before you confirm: transfers, share purchases and loan payments cannot normally be undone, and a payment sent to the wrong account is the sender's responsibility. Loans carry the interest and repayment terms shown when they were approved, and must be repaid under them.

6. The service as it is

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of loss. We may change, pause or end any part of it, including because the game changes.

7. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses of in-game money, resources or shares that come from the game, outages, the actions of other players or staff, mistakes you make, or events outside our control. Because nothing here has real-world value, we are not responsible for real-world losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right or responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

How we handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will update the version and date above and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the change.
